This time last year, I was completely burned out. I needed to withdraw from the world for a bit, put my head down, protect my heart and regroup. If I’m going to show up in your inbox or your feed, then I want to bring you something of value and I just didn’t have the energy to do that in a meaningful or consistent way.

So I immersed myself in a few big projects, becoming less and less visible online. It may have been summer but I was in hibernation, making space for some dramatic shifts to unfold. By Christmas, things were looking up and we were planning an ambitious family adventure that has consumed much of my time and energy. Until now.

This time of regrouping has been so necessary and so valuable.

For the first time in a long while, I’ve paused to evaluate where I’ve been and where I’m going.

I’ve given myself permission to ‘love what I love’.

I’ve let go of the compulsion to do ‘all the things’ and I’m choosing to focus on where I can bring the most joy to my work and the most value to you.

For me that means:
